2025 Singing Alive Terms
In consideration of being allowed to participate in and attend the 2025 Singing Alive Gathering (the “Gathering”), which is scheduled to take place at the Miller Bros. Ranch, near Silverton, OR, and is organized by Singing Alive LLC (“Singing Alive”), I (“participant”) agree to comply with any and all rules, regulations, terms, and conditions of the Gathering, including but not limited to the following:
General
the Gathering is an outdoor, DIY, community-based event. All services, accommodations and amenities are offered in good-faith and are to be assessed by each individual for personal safety and suitability. Participants may partake at their own risk. Singing Alive and associated parties are not liable for any losses or damages incurred in relation to the event or location, or for any costs incurred including legal or medical. Danger and risk of Injury, Illness, harm, or loss or damage of property are at each participant’s own risk.
Minors
Anyone bringing a minor is responsible for that minor, especially for their safety and impact on others. If a minor is asked to leave the Gathering the associated adult(per the ticket registration) is responsible for removing them and will not be reimbursed for loss of time at the Gathering.
Animals
Attendees may not bring animals, pets, or livestock to the Gathering and doing so will immediately void the tickets of all associated parties. No refund, credit, or reimbursement of any kind will be issued for voided tickets.
ADA service animals actively assisting a disabled participant are welcome. Service animals may not interact with other event participants or cause a nuisance, danger, or distraction. Service animals behaving unprofessionally are not permitted at the Gathering and must be removed.
Tickets
Tickets cannot be refunded and have no cash value. Unused tickets are void at the end of the Gathering and cannot be redeemed towards a future event
Participants must register for their ticket to be valid. Name on ticket, registration, and photo ID must all match.
Singing Alive does not offer ticket transfers or refunds. Limited transfers are available through the ticketing platform, subject to their rules and regulations. Use the ’transfer my ticket’ button at the top of the ticket registration page. No tickets can be transferred past noon August 3rd, 2025. Singing Alive does not offer support or consultation for ticket transfers.
NO REFUNDS. Sales are final. Unused tickets are void after the Gathering.
Ticket Cancellation
Emergency ticket cancellations communicated by email before noon August 6th, 2025 may, at the discretion of admin, possibly be awarded a credit (of the same value as the ticket minus $50) redeemable towards a future event (Singing Alive or Plants enChant). Non-emergency cancellations will not result in refund or credit. Emergency qualification is at admin discretion and refers to catastrophic circumstances. Ticket cancellations, emergency or otherwise, communicated after noon August 6th, 2025 will not result in refund or credit.
Event Cancellation
If the Gathering is canceled before August 7th, 2025 a credit (of the same value as the ticket) redeemable towards a future event will be issued to the original purchaser. There will be no cash refunds.
Entry / Exit
Earliest arrival is anytime after 12 noon Thursday before the event. Participants may come and go from the Gathering during open gate hours. There is no compensation, reimbursement or exchange for time spent away from the Gathering.
The Gathering closes Monday afternoon. Participants may (or may not) be invited to share an extra night of singing Monday night. If so, participants must move all personal items, camping gear, and vehicles to outside the entrance of the Gathering (move to the registration field) before dinner Monday. Upon exiting Monday night participants may not re-enter the Gathering space Tuesday morning for any reason. No food, showers, water, lost and found, pond, or ‘quick goodbye’ access AT ALL Tuesday. All participants must be entirely off the event property by 10am Tuesday morning, no exceptions.
Recordings
Photography, audio, and video recording by Singing Alive may occur anywhere within the Gathering time and location. Presence at the Gathering implies consent to be recorded, and for those recordings to be used to promote future events, the organization, and related projects. Images, videos and recordings may be altered.
Singing Alive and associated parties are not liable for unwanted or unexpected outcomes related to any type of video or audio recording or photography taken at the event. Singing Alive may publish images and recordings online for learning and entertainment purposes. Please do not share songs with licensing conflicts.
Participants may photo, audio, and video record only in the main meadow and sky lodges. Participants may not record children, ceremonies, rituals, nudity, or vulnerable personal shares of any kind. Participant recordings may only be publicized with written permission from Singing Alive, may not be used in the promotion of another event, business, or for-profit project, and may not be used to show the gathering, its organizers, staff, or participants in a negative, unfavorable, or questionable light.
Anyone asked to stop photographing, audio or video recording for any reason by Singing Alive, staff, or associates must do so immediately. Failure to stop recording upon request will immediately void the tickets of all associated parties. No refund, credit, or reimbursement of any kind will be issued for voided tickets.
Participant Responsibilities
All participants present at the Gathering are responsible for the terms of the Gathering. Those registering on behalf of another person are obligated to make sure that the person is aware of these Terms and accepts them. By accepting a ticket and attending the Gathering, the participant consents to the terms.
Singing Alive, the Gathering, venue, and associated parties are not liable for death, illness, injury, losses, or damages. Those attending the event are responsible for the safety and well-being of themselves, their belongings, and any minor or animal they bring.
